The Second Annual Emergency Preparedness and Safety Expo, hosted by the Sedgwick County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) and our community partners is free event for the community will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Century II Expo Center.
The purpose of this Expo is to bring our community together for hands-on learning, safety education, and emergency preparedness awareness.
Attendees will have the chance to explore resources, meet
local response partners, and learn practical skills that can make a real difference during an emergency. Evergy will present an electrical safety demonstration at 11:00 a.m., and the American Red Cross will
host an onsite blood drive.
