Prioritizing Your Health with Updated Vaccinations

At Hunter Health, we are commited to the safety and wellbeing of our community. We urge everyone eligible to get their COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots, as well as all other recommended seasonal and childhood vaccinations. This not only protects you from illnesses but also reduces the risk of transmission to others.

Schedule Your Vaccination Appointment

COVID-19 vaccines play a crucial role in reducing transmission and helping our community return to regular routines. With collective effort, we can overcome the pandemic.

Vaccines are available for both patients and community members aged 5 and above. This includes the option for a third vaccine dose for specific individuals. Appointments can be made at our Central Clinic.

Preparing for Your Appointment

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment.
  • Ensure you have a government-issued photo ID and insurance card with you.
  • Refrain from consuming over-the-counter medications like Tylenol, Advil, or Motrin before your shot, as they might reduce the vaccine’s efficacy.
  • If you’re booking an appointment for the second or third dose or the booster of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, proof of the initial dose(s) will be required.

What to Expect After Vaccination

It’s common to experience flu-like symptoms for a few days after the vaccination. This is a sign that your immune system is building protection. If post-vaccination symptoms cause discomfort, feel free to take over-the-counter pain relievers such as Tylenol, Advil, or Motrin as needed.
