Who I Am
Born and raised in Nebraska, I have called Wichita my home for the past six years. My journey in healthcare has taken me from Southern Illinois, where I worked after completing PA school in West Virginia, to my current role at Hunter Health. As a Physician Assistant, I have found the perfect balance between my passion for helping and taking care of patients and my interest in problem-solving. This allows me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of my patients and provide comprehensive care.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia. Before attending PA school, I worked as a Nursing Assistant and gained experience in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. Since becoming a Physician Assistant, I have worked in Orthopedic Surgery, specializing in General, Sports Medicine, and Total Joints in southern Illinois, and moonlighting in Urgent Care. In Wichita, I continued my career in Orthopedic Surgery, focusing on Foot and Ankle Surgery before joining Hunter Health in 2023.
Why Hunter Health?
I chose Hunter Health because of the energy, enthusiasm, and mission of the organization. The integrated team approach to care, which recognizes the importance of mental health alongside physical health, and the focus on treating the whole patient resonates with me. I am also impressed by Hunter Health’s commitment to preventative care rather than solely reactive medicine, making it the perfect place for me to continue my healthcare journey.
