Who I Am

I was born and raised in Colombia, with Spanish as my first language, and came to the U.S. for college. I have a passion for science and medicine, and believe mental and physical health are intrinsically linked as a part of total care.

I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wichita State University and hold licenses in Kansas for Licensed Master Social Worker and Licensed Master Addictions Counselor. I worked as a mental health specialist during my graduate program, and joined Hunter Health after graduating in 2018.
