Who I Am

I’ve lived in Garden City, KS most of my adult life. My wife and I have five children and seven grandchildren. I chose Family Medicine because of the wide variety of care I can provide.

Family Medicine

Experience

I am Board Certified in Family Medicine.  I graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1995 and completed my Residency at Via Christi St. Francis in 1998.  I have been in practice full-time since then, spending 11 years providing complete care as a Family Practice doctor, then 9 years as an ER doctor, and four more in Garden City as a Family doctor before joining Hunter Health in 2022.

Why Hunter Health

After four years in public health – and ten years as a paramedic prior to medical school – I am passionate about providing quality healthcare to those who may not otherwise have access.
