Hunter Health is a Proud Clearway Testing Partner
Hunter Health is proud to be part of Clearway Testing, a community-wide program that provides FREE health testing for members of our community who may have lived, worked, or spent time in areas where groundwater has been polluted by harmful chemicals.
Together, we are helping residents find a clear way forward.
WHAT Services are Covered?
Clearway partners offer FREE testing to look for specific health issues related to exposure to groundwater contamination, not levels of harmful chemicals in the body.
Testing is FREE through December 31, 2026.
You and/or your insurance will not be billed for the tests included below. Your first health screening from Hunter Health will include:
- Blood tests that:
- Measure liver and kidney function
- Look for anemia and other problems
- Screen for certain liver concerns
- Urinalysis to check for blood
- If follow-up testing is needed, other covered services may include:
- An abdominal ultrasound to further examine the liver and kidneys
- Other lab work

WHY Get Tested?
By serving as a testing partner, Hunter Health is helping our community better understand and take important steps for their health.
- Contaminated groundwater carries dangerous chemicals, such as trichloroethylene (TCE) and tetrachloroethylene (PCE), which have been linked to a variety of illnesses.
- Many people may not know they are at risk.
- Testing can help answer questions individuals may not have known to ask.
- Testing leads to peace of mind and a better understanding of their health, even for those without symptoms.
