If you are experiencing problems because of your use of alcohol, street drugs (including marijuana), and/or prescription drugs, please call us…we can help.

A substance use disorder (SUD) is an illness that affects all areas of a person’s life and can cause serious health, family, legal, employment, and social consequences.  Hunter Health’s SUD Outpatient Treatment Program provides education, support, and counsel with the goal of improving the quality of your life.  An initial evaluation can be scheduled and will determine the level of care that best serves your needs.  Please contact us.

Services provided:

  • DUI evaluations – $150.00 flat fee (insurance cannot be billed)
  • Substance use disorder assessments/evaluations
  • Group therapy
  • Individual therapy
  • ADSAP class (also called a 1-day alcohol/drug education class) – these occur quarterly – $50.00 flat fee (insurance cannot be billed)
  • Continuing care services
  • Consultations/referrals
  • Collaboration with your referral sources

Our program is handicap accessible.  Translation services are available for evaluations only. Referrals can and will be made if necessary or preferred.

Most forms of payment are accepted, including private insurance, Medicaid, CDIB (Native American) card, and documentation supporting proof of homelessness.  Without insurance, we utilize an income-based plan with supporting documentation. 

For medication assisted treatment (MAT) – please call and specifically request an appointment for MAT.  This is separate from the SUD Outpatient Treatment Program, though traditional treatment can be extremely beneficial to someone receiving MAT services.   Please call (316) 262-2415 x1196 for more information.
