Our HIV Prevention Specialist offers free HIV testing and counseling at our Central Clinic and across the community. Should you feel at risk, a negative result can offer peace of mind. If you test positive, we will quickly help you connect to the appropriate care and treatment.

*Free HIV/STI testing with our HIV Prevention Specialist is based on availability. Charges may apply if presenting symptoms warrant more extensive testing and examination by a healthcare provider.
Who Should Get Tested, For What, and How Often?
Everyone ages 13-64 should be tested for HIV at least once.
- All sexually active women under 25 should get annual testing for gonorrhea and chlamydia.
- Women 25 and older with risk factors (such as new or multiple sexual partners or a partner with an STI) should also be tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia annually.
- Everyone expecting a child should be tested for HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C early in their pregnancy. Those at risk for infection should be tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea early in pregnancy as well.
- All sexually active gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men should be tested:
- Annually for syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea. Those with multiple or anonymous partners should consider more frequent testing (e.g., every 3 to 6 months).
- Annually for HIV, with some potentially benefiting from more frequent testing (e.g., every 3 to 6 months).
- Annually for hepatitis C, if they are living with HIV.
- Anyone engaging in sexual behaviors placing them at risk, or sharing injection drug equipment, should be tested for HIV at least annually.
