Who I Am

I was born in Bangor, Maine. My mom was a nurse at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. On the weekends she worked at a Medication Assisted Treatment clinic. She always told me stories about treatment and patient care which led me to recognize my own passion for underserved patients.

Healthcare Specialty

Integrated Care and Crisis Intervention. Certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Experience

I earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology, and a Doctor of Education from Fielding Graduate University. I have experience as a risk and utilization coordinator at the largest community mental health center in Kansas, and worked with patients in a behavioral health crisis center. I joined Hunter Health in 2017, and was named one of the “Women Who Lead in HealthCare” in 2019 by the Wichita Business Journal.

Why Hunter Health

Hunter Health has a strong integrated care program. We see patients for medical, dental, optometry, and behavioral health in one location. Often, a patient will receive many of those services in the same day. Not only is that easier for the patient; it’s holistic healthcare, and it’s something that everyone who works here is passionate about.
